You may withdraw your consent to receive communications from us electronically by contacting us. However, if you withdraw your consent to receive our communications electronically, you must discontinue your use of your account. We respect the privacy of every individual who visits the website. Our policy on the collection and use of personal information is outlined below.

We collect and use personal information in order to:

  • Administer or otherwise carry out our obligations in relation to any agreement that you may have with us.
  • Anticipate and resolve problems with your service.
  • Carry out market research and the tracking of sales.
  • Create and inform you of products and services provided either by us or by carefully selected third parties that you may be interested in, where you have consented to be contacted for such purposes and allow Data Processors to do the same – see Emails below for more information about this.

In order carry out the above, we need to collect and process personal information about you (including but not limited to, your name, address, telephone number, email address, details of your visits to the website and any transactional information in relation to order fulfilment). We may ask you for this information on the website during the registration process or at any subsequent point. You will be asked to agree to the collection of your data. We do not collect data we do not need, and only those people with a clearly identified need to access your data are able to do so.

We will not disclose any personally identifiable information without your permission unless (i) we are legally obliged to do so (for example, as the result of a court order or for the purposes of prevention of crime or fraud); (ii) we need to do so in order to enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements; or (iii) we need to do so in order to protect our rights, property, safety, customers, or others.

(1) Non-Personal Details

We may automatically collect non-personal information about you, such as the type of browsers you use or the website from which you linked to us. This information is only used to assist us in providing an effective service on the website. We may, from time to time, supply the owners and operators of third party websites which have a link to our site with information about the number of users linking to the website from their website. You cannot be identified from any of this information.

(2) Emails

We give you the option to decide what emails you receive from us. The emails we send fall into three categories: (i) General information emails which provide you with information about offers, new products and other things that we think may interest you or Morthanveld Publishing Ltd customers generally, (ii) Service emails that we send concerning activity on your Morthanveld Publishing Ltd account (for example to remind you of unordered items in your online cart or surveys to capture your feedback on orders you have placed with Morthanveld Publishing Ltd) and (iii) Transactional emails relating directly to your orders and purchases from Morthanveld Publishing Ltd. Please note that transactional emails that we send you are unaffected by your preferences for general information and service emails. If you wish to stop receiving transactional emails you must cease use of your account.

(3) Cookies

When you visit Morthanveld Publishing Ltd we send cookies to your computer, or similar device, which are essential for shopping with us and useful for storing your user preferences. They also help prevent fraud by providing a way of recognising you so that only you can access your account and personal data. We use cookies for marketing purposes too, such as tracking user trends, click through and sales figures (which we may share with branded partners), media performance and search optimisation. As cookies are so useful we don’t recommend you disable them but if you really want to you can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, which allows you to choose whether or not to accept it. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any lack of functionality should you choose to disable cookies.

(4) Links

Our site may, from time to time, contain links to and from the websites of our partner networks, advertisers and affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Please check these policies before you submit any personal data to these websites.

(5) Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Be “forgotten” – that is, to have all data we hold on you removed from our servers and destroyed.
  • Know what data we hold on you – please contact us to ask if you want to know. We reserve the right to levy a small administration charge (no more than £10) to provide this information.
  • Know what we are going to use that data for.
  • Expect us to keep your data safe – Morthanveld’s website is hosted within the EU in a secure datacentre and backed up to a separate secure location.
  • Be told if something goes wrong – if we suffer a data breach or loss, you will be informed within 2 working days of us becoming aware of any such breach or loss.
